The VVIP side of the Presidential transition.

SGAS – ASU, 14th – 15th August 2018

Latin America has a new president and it’s in our homeland Paraguay! About one week ago, Mario Abdo Benitez, the 46-year old President, became the 51st in office and opened the path for a whole new generation into the presidency. Seven heads of state, six of them from Latin-American countries and Tsai Ing-Wen, Taiwan’s president, were in attendance. Paraguay also welcomed 2 vice-presidents, and 94 official delegations attended the ceremony.

This occurrence was celebrated far and wide the country and the Silvio Pettirossi International Airport found itself particularly busy welcoming diplomatic from all over the world, and here is where Consorcio Aviation played a protagonist role, treating excellently as usual to part of this delegation, even head of states!

Mr. Tabare Vazquez head of Uruguay and his crew have been one of whom received the privileged CAV’s VVIP ground handling assistance. The Uruguay Air Force landed in a Douglas C-29 Dolphin, an amphibious aircraft originally conceived as a luxury air-yacht in its earliest versions. But he wasn’t the only one.

As Mr. Vazquez, the head of the great-coffee-and-beautiful-beaches country, Colombia, Mr. Ivan Duque also enjoyed special treatments landing in a Latin-American jewel, the Embraer ERJ-135, aircraft fruit of a +300 Million USD development program.

This year wasn’t the first Consorcio deals with such an important business and it won’t be the last, who knows, someday even you could be the person enjoying the services requested by presidents. Or at least requesting them, doesn’t really matter what the case could be, Consorcio will be happily welcoming you on board!
