MENA and November Highlights

November was an exciting month! As a way to gear up for our visit to MEBAA this month in December, we highlighted the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region from three different angles; current airports, new projects (Greenfield and non-Greenfield), and major airlines of the region.

All in all, the number one word to describe this region is growth. Growth in passengers, cargo, size, and all in between. Even the percentage of growth in this region when compared to the percentage of growth in the rest of the world is growing.

Located in Doha, Qatar, Hamad International Airport is known as one of the most luxurious airports in the world.

Word two? Innovation. Amidst this massive growth, this region is pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. From robot operated terminals, to sleek design, to the luxury and services provided, the airlines and airports of this region are looking to position themselves as the most forward thinking in the entire world.

Next month, we’ll be taking a dive into two local service projects we recently completed as well as the top 5 airports worldwide from a passenger perspective. Lastly, just after Christmas and the New Years we’re going to investigate and breakdown reindeer aerodynamics. How do they do it? Ho, ho, ho!
