Consorcio Aviation supporting the 2023 World Marathon Challenge

Activities in LATAM are back! And this particular one, for many, is of once in a lifetime.

The 2023 World Marathon Challenge ® is a logistical and physical challenge to run seven marathons on seven continents in seven days.

It took place during January / February 2023, starting off with the first marathon at Novo (Antarctica) and followed by marathons in Cape Town (Africa), Perth (Australia), Dubai (Asia), Madrid (Europe), Fortaleza (South America) and Miami (North America).

When it comes to ops in LATAM, you already know who to call. We were honored to provide our services for the Marathon’s stop in Fortaleza, Brazil.

Through our solid network of vetted providers, we took care of the Handling, as well as the Catering and Transportation required for the Crew. Our client could rest assured the details were being taken care of, as we supervised the live operation minute to minute and managed the invoicing process.

Contemplating that we operated with one of the most important Airlines from Europe, the job came with certain challenges.

We needed to ensure that they understood all the the local airport’s regulations in terms of checking, boarding, airport staff access, entry requirements, security, arrival & departure procedure as well as the requirements to enter the United States, considering the fact that it was their next destination.

With those things in mind, we anticipated all the possible issues to provide a service with high quality standards in alignment with all the requirements from the airport.
